a short intro

Recently, I breathed deeply of the ocean air and was refreshed-even if a little crispy. I was awestruck by the beauty of creation and of the handywork of God. I want to never forget to live in such as a way as to love that which has been created for us to love and to SEE the BEAUTY around us. The simple, elegance of creation as it unfolds. I want to live with purpose and simplicity. Loving God, loving people. I think by loving people and the ones God puts in our lives, we love Him. I think God expresses his love all the time all around us, through people and through his creation and through nature.

I sit here on the back porch writing this journal surrounded by sunshine and flowers and the birth of spring. This is my favorite time of year, as it speaks to me of hope and love and goodness. St. Paul encourages us in his letter to the Philipians to think on the things that are good, to "focus on the light" as it were. It is easy to do that this time of year and I will spend time this week doing things that I love in addition to my work.

This is simply a journal of growth and grace, of learning to walk and embrace fully the woman God is creating me to be. If nothing else, I hope you leave inspired to bloom where you're planted and
